Like a lot of people, I already exercise and eat healthy foods so I actually like my body (most days). But, I am human and there is that dress that shows off my arms and that swimsuit that will show off my abs (or lack thereof) in Greece so, needless to say, I am stepping up my game! I am on my best dietitian behavior and I want to share it with you. Partially to show you how dietitians eat (including dessert!) and partially to hold me accountable for my own plan. See, I love dessert, so much so that most of the time I have to avoid it altogether to keep myself from over-indulging. I've gotten better in the past year because I have literally prayed that God will help me with moderation of the chocolate. Try it, totally works.
I decided to share my daily eats with you at lunch time so my breakfast didn't make the photo cut. I had 1/4 of an avocado and 1 ounce of fresh mozarella for breakfast.
Lunch: {Joey's} Leftover sushi from Bayou Fresh in Jasper.
3pm (not ripe enough) banana
4:30 pm ran 5 miles with Kathleen then headed to Brooke's house.
I grabbed wine at this cute shop that I found (by accident) and Chandler told me that Thursday's are wine and beer tasting nights! Stop by if you are in Mountain Brook!
6:30pm
Ashley made a wonderful goat cheese artichoke dip that I dug into before I got a picture! Then there was:
gumbo (Brooke made it!), Emily brought bread and Kathleen made praline brownies!! So much fun!
We enjoyed all of this delicious food while we watched the bachelor together. Read: while we made fun of the contestants together. Great night with awesome girls! #clinnuts
I brought an extra brownie home to my brother who proceeded to ask if Kathleen was single. Way to a man's heart...
