Mallory's getting married! And thanks to my good friend, Jeremy, and his family, all the girls got to have a wonderful weekend beach getaway to celebrate her upcoming nuptials. We left after work Thursday and drove straight into Santa Rosa Beach where we were welcomed by an amazingly beautiful condominium home for the weekend. Friday started off on the right foot as Ashlie and I went for a run down 30A. I really wish every city was so exercise friendly. The huge sidewalks are never ending and perfect for runners and bikers to coexist with road traffic. After a protein packed oatmeal breakfast we all set out for groceries for lunches. Ashlie, Anna and I decided on hummus, spinach wraps (with 9g of protein!), turkey, lettuce and tabouli along with a variety of fruits. Before this weekend I had never had tabouli but it instantly became a new fave that I can't wait to recreate. After beachin it all day we got ready for the night and started with a lingerie shower for Mallory.
I got her a cute sleep shirt from Victorias Secret and Anna took it to have it monogrammed for me! Yellow, gray and blue are Mals wedding colors so it was only appropriate to use them! Then, it was out to dinner at hammerhead's where Anna and I shared a tuna dip app and blackened grouper tacos. Both great choices and plenty of food for two! We headed out to Rumrunners where we danced and talked like girls will do before calling it a night. The cab driver, Ron, was a little late but did give us some helpful tips and a good deal, but we ended up with Charles on the way home. Both great services!.jpeg)

On a side note- I wore only shorts and a sports bra while I ran and I don't know why but it just seems strange. I mean, I lay out in a bikini and feel fine there's just something about running without a shirt. I don't think I could do it anywhere other than the beach. Anyone else the same way?!
After a couple of hours laying out we went to grab sno cones in Seaside. The cutest place ever! The food trucks are airstreams! I got wedding cake flavor with custard on the bottom. It was good, but too sweet for me and I would just go with custard next time. Ashlie got strawberry shortcake topped with graham cracker crust. Good $5 treats on a hot day!
More laying out followed then we were out to celebrate once again!
Saturday night we started at 723 Whiskey Bravo, a cute rooftop bar and restaurant that Mallory found. We sat on patio furniture while enjoying drinks and dinner as the sun set. It was the perfect Bachelorette dinner. I had the grilled red snapper with Brussels sprouts and sampled the macaroni and cheese bites from Mallory and the grits from Anna. Everything was great! I would definitely recommend eating there.
More celebrations followed at Bud and Alley's and then on to Pandora's.

The end.
So much fun! Can't wait for another girls trip!
